Located on 70+ acres of woods at the beginning of the beautiful Mohawk Trail, Lamb City is easily accessible from several East Coast metros. The campground is about 70 miles northwest of Boston; 75 miles northeast of Hartford, CT; and 120 miles east of Albany, NY.
Lamb City is open May through October, meaning our guests can enjoy all the area has to offer during the spring, summer, and early fall months.
Our rates include a designated campsite, full RV hookups, access to restroom/shower facilities, and amenities like WiFi and communal spaces (swimming pools, playground, sports courts, etc.). Yes, we offer both nightly/short-term RV sites for stays less than 30 days and extended-stay options for 30 days or more. Whether you're planning a brief getaway or a longer stay, we can meet your needs.
Lamb City offers many amenities. Just to name a few: free WiFi, three swimming pools (including a kiddie pool), sports courts (basketball, volleyball, shuffleboard, bocce), a frisbee-golf course, horseshoe pits, a playground, two rec halls, laundry facilities, a general store, and easy access to outdoor adventures like hiking and fishing in the Lamb City Pond. Lamb City is located just minutes from many local attractions. In the summer, Queen Lake Beach is a great spot to cool off, while Red Apple Farm is a perfect family destination year-round, with pick-your-own fruit, a petting farm, and a restaurant/taproom serving local beer. Hikers will love the 3-mile scenic walk up to Birch Hill Dam, and bowlers can roll at Gardner Ten Pins, which has 24 lanes plus an arcade and bar & grill.
